Long before there were serums, facial oils, or skincare rituals, there was simply a little girl with sensitive skin and a mother searching for a gentler way to care for it.
As a chemist with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and more than twenty years of experience researching natural products, marine-derived compounds, and medicinal chemistry, I spent much of my career studying the remarkable chemistry found in nature. Yet some of the most meaningful lessons came not from the laboratory, but from caring for my family.
When my daughter was young, I began making simple creams to soothe and protect her delicate skin. I wanted products that were gentle, thoughtfully crafted, and made with ingredients I could trust. What started as a few homemade formulations quickly became a passion. Friends and family began asking for them, and I found myself constantly learning, refining, and creating.
As the years passed, my own skin began to change. Like many women, I started looking for products that could support mature skin while still respecting its natural balance. I wanted effective ingredients backed by science, but I also wanted the nourishing beauty of botanical oils, plant extracts, and naturally derived ingredients.
That desire became the foundation of Piña Natural Beauty.

My scientific background helps me understand how ingredients work, but my philosophy remains simple: skincare should feel nurturing, not complicated. Whenever possible, I choose natural ingredients that offer both beauty and function, combining them with carefully selected modern actives to create formulations that are effective, elegant, and enjoyable to use.
